Playing Out

Playing Out is a national parent and resident led movement restoring children’s freedom to play out in the streets and spaces where they live, for their health, happiness and sense of belonging.


Make:Shift is Wolverhampton’s annual ideas festival where we challenge the people of the City to “Change Wolverhampton with an idea.”

Make:Shift is about finding new ideas and new ventures that communities can make happen for themselves.

Crowdfund Wolves

Crowdfund Wolves links people with money and support enabling you to shape your local communities. We are always looking to get behind unusual, interesting and innovative ideas to make Wolverhampton even better.

Trade School

Trade School is a non-traditional learning space where learners bring a barter item in exchange for class teachers sharing their knowledge and skills with others.

Repair Cafés

Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things (together). In the place where a Repair Café is located, you’ll find tools and materials to help you make any repairs you need.


At TEDxWolverhampton event speakers spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organised.
